The 2016 Victorian State Solo and Ensemble Championships is nearly here and the VBL needs more volunteers to help us run this exciting event.

The Victorian State Solo & Ensemble Championships is a two day event held at Our Lady of Mercy College, Heidelberg on 23 and 24 July. Brass, percussion and woodwind instrumentalist come from all over Australia to compete at the Championships to see who will be crowned the Victorian State Champion.  Featuring soloists, duets, trios, quartets, quintets and small ensembles and competitors ranging in age from Under 10 years right up to over 60 years the State Solo and Ensemble Championships is an event for everyone.

An event of this magnitude is unable to be run without a dedicated team of volunteers. This is where you come in. Volunteer applications for this great event are closing soon.

Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, have fun and be part of a team. You don’t need any special skills, training or experience to be a volunteer, all that’s required is enthusiasm and the willingness to help out and be a part of one of the VBL’s biggest events of the year.

If you are interested in volunteering, please email the following information to contests@vbl.org.au

  • Availability (Eg: Saturday Morning, Sunday Afternoon)

We look forward to receiving your application.
