Frankston RSL has been fortunate enough to have the Band of the Royal Regiment of New Zealand Artillery performing for us as a tribute to Remembrance Day.
The band will be performing in the afternoon for a school childrens Remembrance Day Service at the Frankston War Memorial.
The evening performance will be for 1 1/2 hours commencing at 7.30pm.
As noted on the flyer entry is by gold coin donation.
I would recommend the meals at the Frankston RSL and this could be a good social night for your members.

“Brassed Off” (Rated M – Some Violence, Coarse Language)
Grimley, a small Yorkshire mining town, is threatened with being shut down and the only hope for the town’s men is to enter their Brass Band into a national competition. They believe they have no hope until Gloria appears carrying her Flugelhorn. At first mocked for being a woman, she soon becomes the only chance for the band to win. However, in joining the band she puts her relationship with her childhood sweetheart Andy on the line…
You Can Help!
Simply by joining our band members for dinner and a movie, you can help to raise some much needed funds for Marist Brass! These funds will go towards new percussion instruments, as well as the purchase of a Band Trailer so our band can travel to an event near you!
Join Stonnington City Brass, The Melbournaires Harmony Chorus, and the Stonnington Training Band as we present an afternoon of Barbershop and Brass.
Proudly supported by the City of Stonnington, this concert will offer a variety of both brass and barbershop music, as well as the rare opportunity to hear the choir and band combined, which will be fantastic!
With music ranging from traditional through to show tunes, a Scottish favourite and even a special treat for the children there will be something for everyone.
