Frankston RSL has been fortunate enough to have the Band of the Royal Regiment of New Zealand Artillery performing for us as a tribute to Remembrance Day.
The band will be performing in the afternoon for a school childrens Remembrance Day Service at the Frankston War Memorial.
The evening performance will be for 1 1/2 hours commencing at 7.30pm.
As noted on the flyer entry is by gold coin donation.
I would recommend the meals at the Frankston RSL and this could be a good social night for your members.

“Brassed Off” (Rated M – Some Violence, Coarse Language)
Grimley, a small Yorkshire mining town, is threatened with being shut down and the only hope for the town’s men is to enter their Brass Band into a national competition. They believe they have no hope until Gloria appears carrying her Flugelhorn. At first mocked for being a woman, she soon becomes the only chance for the band to win. However, in joining the band she puts her relationship with her childhood sweetheart Andy on the line…
You Can Help!
Simply by joining our band members for dinner and a movie, you can help to raise some much needed funds for Marist Brass! These funds will go towards new percussion instruments, as well as the purchase of a Band Trailer so our band can travel to an event near you!

The ideal candidate would have past experience in the education of youth musicians. The ability to relate yet remain respected by the band members has been integral to the success of the past and a trait we are very keen to maintain. Whilst an honorarium is offered, the driver must be the love of music and the reward from developing the musical talent of youth.

A current Working with Children check is a mandatory requirement, a copy of which should be included with you application.
