Bringing together bands from Australia and overseas, the championships are the premier contesting event for Australian brass and concert bands. Run by the Victorian Bands' League under the auspices of the National Bands' Council of Australia, the 2007 Nationals will provide a weekend packed with great fun, music and entertainment.
The Championships are very definitely over, and they were a great success. There were the usual hiccoughs along the way, of course, but in the end we had RESULTS. You can see who won by clicking here.
We cannot issue the detailed timetable, which would release the draw into the public domain, but we have prepared a broad timetable of Band Events, which you can access here. This gives you days, starting times and approximate finishing times for the various band events.

As entries for the Championships are now closed, we are delighted to advise that 91 Bands have entered. We are making the list of bands that have entered the various sections available on this site so that competing bands will know who their opponents will be, and all others can see the range of entrants. We have now completed our analysis of the Solo and Party entries and you can see how many entries have been received in each section in the Solo Entry List
The list of music has cuts marked for the B Flat Cornet and the Flugel Horn solo test pieces. These were inadvertently reversed on the web site, but were corrected on 6th December 2006. All cuts to solo test pieces are shown on the music list.
