Get your band on the World Wide Web!
In July 2001 the then President (David Billimoria) announced to the Delegates Meeting that all member bands can establish a presence on the World Wide Web through the VBL website at www.vbl.org.au
Each member band, as part of their affiliation with the Victorian Bands' League, is entitled to a web page on our server. Due to space constraints it is not possible for the VBL to offer an integrated website for each band with features such as guest books, photographs and lots of pictures etc. What we can provide is a web presence for each band that details some general information about the band, its activities, where to contact the band and so on. We will also list the site with some worldwide band sites if you wish.
Each band can then use the website address (which you can choose) to advertise itself to the community or prospective members. If your band already has its own website, the League will provide a link to that website, rather than a site hosted on our server.
