VBL announces insurance policies for bands
The VBL is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with Rowland House Insurance Brokers to provide insurance services to members of the Victorian Bands League.
Rowland House is able to offer a wide range of insurances that may be suitable for your band. Among these insurances are public/products liability, which is an essential insurance policy for all bands, as well as insurance for fire and perils, burglary and theft, glass, money, and buildings and contents. In addition, Rowland House is able to offer insurance to individual members of your band in areas such as house and contents or the insurance of instruments.
As part of its agreement with Rowland House, the Victorian Bands League has been able to negotiate a fixed price public liability insurance policy for member bands. This policy covers the bands legal liability (up to $10,000,000) to the general public in respect of property damage and/or bodily injury due to negligence, including other peoples property in the bands physical and legal control (limit - $50,000); liability arising out of goods sold/supplied, and member-to-member liability.
Through our agreement, Rowland House is able to offer this insurance to bands at a current premium of $334.95 including GST and stamp duty (2007 price). This is a fantastic rate and represents a significant saving on public liability insurance for most bands.
Should you require more information about public/products liability insurance or other insurance for bands, please contact Geoff Cavigan at Rowland House Insurance Brokers on phone (03) 9530 2900, fax (03) 9530 2099 or email: gcavigan@rowlandhouse.com
I do commend Rowland House to your band, and encourage you to contact them as soon as possible to discuss your insurance needs.
