VBL Seeks Expressions of Interest for Membership of its Music Advisory Board

The Victorian Bands' League (VBL)is now seeking expressions of interest for membership of its Music Advisory Board, and is keen to hear from musicians interested in joining the Music Advisory Board (MAB).

The MAB is a standing subcommittee of the VBL, and the Executive is currently reviewing the functions and membership of the MAB. In particular, the MAB guides the League in test selection, band gradings and adjudicator appointments.

An initiative of the MAB is to create an Adjudication Handbook for current and aspiring adjudicators. The Handbook will cover many aspects of adjudication, including a Code of Conduct, qualifications, accreditation, standard adjudication processes and remuneration, amongst other matters.
