NEW BAND - LEGENDS OF BRASS

A new band with the name LEGENDS OF BRASS has been formed in the North Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne

 The band members will be mainly retired from full time employment planning to rehearse fortnightly on a Wednesday afternoon and perform at Retirement Villages, Service Clubs, etc. plus corporate functions and concerts.

The band will be built with musicians who are serious about their music and personal performance levels so that a suitable repertoire and high standards will be achieved.

The initial members have been invited to join and the group is seeking suitable additional players of an acceptable musical standard.

The band will perform at a size to suit the specific performance with sufficient numbers to cover the members other commitments and holiday breaks.

The aim of the group is to provide a wide spectrum of entertainment in its musical programming.

Brian Davies has accepted the role as band trainer and with his knowledge and experience in the traditional brass band field will ensure the group is prepared to perform at a high standard.

The formation of this new group is publicised here to open the opportunity to receive requests for the band to present concerts and also to hear from interested brass band players able to fit in with the criteria stated above.
