Nominations for Office-Bearers and Executive Councillors
for Voting at the 2009 AGM to be held on 22nd March 2009

In accordance with S.17.13 of the VBL Constitution, the President has circulated to all Member Bands the list of nominations for Office Bearers and Executive Councillors (and the band for which they are Delegate) for the upcoming VBL Annual General Meeting. These are as follows:-

Vice President: Helen Gray (Nhill-Dimboola Band)
Vice President: Peter Wiltshire (Eaglehawk Citizens' Band)
Treasurer: Robyn Solum (Whitehorse Junior Brass)
Registrar: Ben Fixter (Kew Band Melbourne)
Minute Secretary: Megan Stapleton (Moonee Valley Brass)
Executive Councillor: Ian Douglas (Croydon Brass)
Executive Councillor: Douglas Hay (Moonee Valley Junior Band)
Executive Councillor: Marlene Davies (Darebin City Brass - Preston Band)
Executive Councillor: Michael Walker (Hawthorn Band)
Executive Councillor: Helen Gray (Nhill-Dimboola Band)
Executive Councillor: Peter Wiltshire (Eaglehawk Citizens' Band)

Given that each Office-bearer position has one nomination, in accordance with the Constitution, if the Delegates approve, those nominees will take up their positions at the AGM. That will leave three active nominations for Executive Councillor. If the Delegates approve, those three nominees will also be declared to be Executive Councillors at the AGM. Nominations will then be called at the AGM to fill the remaining four vacant Executive Councillor positions.

The Annual General Meeting will be held at Moonee Valley Band Room on Sunday 22nd March 2009, commencing at 10.00am. All welcome.
