The awards were made by Channel Nine newsreader Peter Hitchener. Inspection Drill Adjudicator Kevin Herdman Marching Drill Adjudicators Ben Fixter and Paul O'Toole Music Adjudicators Daniel van Bergen and Jamie Lawson VBL Executive and Drill Advisory Board Member Ian Douglas who timed the inspections, and then preceded the bands as they marched to clear the crowds and avoid collisions! Several of the bands were aired on Radio 3AW from its mobile studio at the end of their march.
